NHK Eテレにて毎週土曜日午後6時25分〜好評放送中のTVアニメ『アオアシ』。
原作は「週刊ビッグコミックスピリッツ」にて連載中の小林有吾のサッカーマンガで、シリーズ累計発行部数は1,300万部を突破。
サッカーJ リーグのユースチームを舞台に、プロを目指し奮闘する高校生たちの青春を描く人気作である。
2022年4月から放送開始されたアニメを彩っているサウンドトラックを担当しているのは、ももいろクローバーZをはじめとしたアイドルへの楽曲提供、数々の映画やアニメ、ドラマの音楽を担当している作曲家の横山克氏。
横山氏の手掛けた全57曲を収録したCD2枚組として、2022年8月24日に発売が決定した。
